Short version: this website sets no cookies, tracks nothing and shows no advertising.

One cookie, and only if you say yes
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To find out whether those ads bring the right trades to this site, we use the Meta Pixel, which sets a cookie in your browser. It does not load until you accept it. When you first arrive you are asked to choose, and nothing is set while you are deciding.
If you decline, no pixel loads, no advertising cookie is set, and the site works exactly as it did before. You can change your mind at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.

Beyond that one cookie there is no analytics tag, no session recording, and nothing else that follows you to other websites.
Two other things we store in your browser
We use your browser’s session storage for two small values. These are not cookies, they are never sent to our servers, and they are wiped the moment you close the tab.

Both exist to stop the site nagging you. Neither identifies you, and neither is shared with anyone.
We also remember your cookie choice itself, in your browser’s local storage under beffer-cookie-consent. It stays until you clear it and is never sent to us. Without it we would have to ask you on every page.
Third parties this site talks to
Google Fonts
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your IP address and browser details are visible to Google. Google states that it does not set cookies for font requests and does not use the data for advertising. See Google Fonts and privacy.
FormSubmit
Only when you submit the waitlist form. Your details pass through FormSubmit purely so they reach our inbox. Nothing is sent unless you press the button. See our Privacy Policy.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
Only after you accept. The pixel loads from Meta’s servers, which means your IP address and browser details are visible to them, and it reports back which pages you viewed on this site and whether you joined the waitlist. See Meta’s privacy policy.
The Beffer app
This policy covers our public website. The customer dashboard is not live yet. When it is, it will need cookies to keep you signed in and your session secure, and we will list them here before it opens.
Changing your mind
Press the button below and you will be asked again, as though it were your first visit.
You can also clear session and local storage at any time through your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking it will not break anything here — you may just be asked again.
Changes
If we add analytics or anything else that stores data on your device, we will update this page and ask for your consent first, in the same way.
